Dr. Mary Anto
Dr.Mary Anto holds a doctoral degree from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun for her work “Ecology and Conservation of the Southern Birdwing Butterfly Troidesminos Cramer (Lepidoptera: Papilionidae)”. She has teaching experience of over 10 years in various institutes in Thrissur. Her research experience of 15 years includes work done in a Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India funded project on establishing butterfly gardens followed by a Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India funded project on conservation of Western ghatbutterflies. Her post doctoral work on mapping endemic butterflies was funded by the University Grants Commission, Delhi. Her research interests include butterfly ecology, conservation, forest management and environmental education. Her passion for conservation and environmental education made her instrumental in setting up FECER in 2006.

Dr. Elizabeth George, is a Horticultural Consultant. She has completed her masters and doctorate in Horticulture from the University of Agricultural Sciences (GKVK), Bangalore. She is a rank holder and recipient of Gold Medal for M Sc and has also won the prestigious Dr. J. C. Anand’s prize for the best student in Post-Harvest Technology. Upon completion of her Ph D, she has served in various capacities, as Technical officer and Evaluator, APOF Organic Certification Agency, Bangalore and as Evaluator, IMO Control Private Limited, Bangalore.

She achieved her post-doctoral degree in Forest Entomology and obtained doctoral degree from Forest Research Institute Dehradun on the topic, “Diet and Dietary dynamics of teak defoliators Hyblaeapuera Cramer and Eutectonamachaeralis Walker“.Her 19 years of research experience in forest entomology mainly focused on pest control through the use, identification and development of biological pest control agents, and traps with pheromone and volatile compounds.Dr Bindu involved and initiated conservation projects, developing and maintaining insect conservatories, and managing alien invasive species. As a long-time supporter of environmental education and as a college level teacher it is her passion to inspire future generation in this field. She is very passionate in travelling and reading.

Dr. Dhaneesh Bhaskar is a young scholar who holds a PhD in Zoology, specializing in Biodiversity Conservation and Management. His profound knowledge and unwavering dedication to the natural world have driven his career towards biodiversity conservation. With a particular focus on the ecology and conservation of invertebrates, Dr. Dhaneesh serves as the Regional Vice-Chair for Asia in the IUCN Species Survival Commission Grasshopper Specialist Group. In this capacity, he plays a vital role in coordinating the redlist assessment of grasshoppers in Asia, contributing to the comprehensive understanding of their conservation status. Notably, Dr. Dhaneesh has made significant taxonomic contributions by describing a new genus and several new species of grasshoppers found in the Western Ghats region. Moreover, his PhD research delved into the impact of habitat management strategies in National Parks and Tiger Reserves in Kerala, shedding light on effective conservation measures. He has also actively participated in wildlife conservation research, focusing on wild animal road kills and human-wildlife interactions. Dr. Dhaneesh Bhaskar's multifaceted research and commitment to preserving biodiversity make him an influential figure in the field of conservation biology.

Dr. Lathika C, an enthusiastic and young environmental expert completed her master’s degree in Environmental Science at Christ College Irinjalakkuda, Calicut University. She secured her Doctoral degree in Environmental Science at Cochin University of Science and Technology with the research topic entitled “Potential of Urban waste compost for Organic Farming”. She has twelve more years of research experience in national and state-level funded projects. She has well expertise in the characterizationand management of solid waste using modern technology, laboratory research, field experiments, Soil, and water analysis. She has published plenty of research papers in various national and international journals and secured awards in best paper contests in national and international seminars.

Dr. Prashob is working as Research Associate at CSIR- CIMAP, Research Centre, Bangalore, since 2019. He obtained MSc from St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam in 2012 and PhD in 2019 on the topic, “Taxonomic revision of the genus Osbeckia L. Melastomataceae in India” under the supervision of Dr. Sibichen M Thomas. He has presented papers in conferences and published several research papers in International Journals. As part of his research work he extensively explored different part of India.

He holds a Phd degree from Calicut University on the topic, “Systematics and phylogeny of Dipterocarps in the Western Ghats, India”. He has more than ten years of research experience in the field of plant systematics, phylogeny and biogeography, niche modelling, RET conservation, phenology and seed dispersal of angiosperms. Currently he is selected as IUCN species survival commission member (WGPSG). Sanil’s expertise lies in studying Flora, Biodiversity documentation, GIS and application and Molecular tools.

Subin interested and expertised in designing Scientific Posters, , Journals, Newsletters, Annual Reports, Books, Handbooks, Research reports, etc. He has designed books for FAO, WWF, KAU and KSBB.
